Building Ease and Natural Reflexes in Singing

Singing involves countless muscles, and to bring a song to life or express its rhythm, these muscles need to move freely and respond naturally. In lessons, we explore ways to make your voice flexible, expressive, and effortless. I’m endlessly fascinated by how singing can be practiced in the most natural and efficient way.

Learning by Example and Caring for the Singer

As a vocal teacher, I see my job as looking after your voice—both for the short term and the long run. Together, we explore your singing goals and ideals, and work step by step toward them. In lessons, we also listen to your favorite artists and how they use their voices, picking up on those little “flavors” that make them recognizable. We can practice these together and blend them into your own style and expression. I think this kind of learning by example helps you expand your singing “vocabulary” and get a clearer sense of the kind of singing you love and want to develop.

A Blend of Approaches

I became a Certified Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) Teacher in Denmark in 2015 and have also studied with teachers from other methods, including Estill Voice Training and Speech Level Singing. I combine approaches from multiple methods in my teaching, keeping things practical, clear, and easy to apply—no need to learn a separate “method” to work with me.

My own learning continues as well: I regularly attend courses and webinars, and continue developing my voice through personal practice and lessons.

Identifying Your Stengths

In my singing lessons, I want every student to recognize their own strengths—because we all have them! I also focus on giving practical tools you can take into your own practice. My goal is that you leave each session feeling excited, empowered, and ready to sing. I genuinely love helping and inspiring singers.

Lessons with no pressure

Singing lessons are like a conversation – both teacher and singer shape the flow. I adapt my teaching to your needs, while respecting your unique learning path and pace. You’re welcome whether or not you’ve practiced at home.

Lessons can be a time to relax and enjoy the feel-good effects of singing, or a focused, accelerated practice session with real-time feedback. It’s also a safe space to try new, exciting, and even playful ideas.
