About me
I’ve loved singing, performing, and teaching for as long as I can remember — even back when my own voice didn’t always obey me, which could be incredibly frustrating! Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about how the human voice works, and I hope my experience can help make your journey a little easier.
I’m a Certified Complete Vocal Technique Teacher, but I combine approaches from different methods to suit your unique voice, goals, and pace. My mission is to help your voice feel strong, flexible, and free — and to give you the tools to express yourself exactly how you want.
Alongside teaching, I create my own music under the name Ilona Sola (www.ilonasola.com), while teaching as Ilona Kaikko. I’m also a mom to two little boys, so if you come to my home studio in Kerava, one of them might pop in to say hi at the front door! Don’t worry — lessons take place in separate, soundproof rooms.
